Who's staying and who's leaving?

Kawhi Leonard
Kawhi will be a Clipper next season. End of story. He went to Toronto, won a ring, left immediately to come play in his home town by the highly over-hated, two-way superstar, PG. Kawhi has had some trouble in the playoffs as a Clipper, but he's right where he wants to be.

2. Chris Paul
Chris Paul will be back in Phoenix. He's with the head coach he needs, he's surrounded by younger talent and young stars in Booker and Ayton. He also is definitely making the money he wants to, I mean, who in the world wouldn't want to make 34+ million a year?

3. Demar Derozan
Demar is an interesting free agent. He's sort of in the "I can still hoop, but time is ticking" phase which many players are also stuck in. It's just a point where one may need a different fit to make as much of a difference on the team that one can make. Demar has averaged 22 and 6 last season, but the Spurs just missed the playoffs. Time is ticking for Demar, and he's looking to get on a contender as he stated during his interview with Shannon Sharpe. I unfortunately predict he will stay on the Spurs, and things may get ugly for him and the front office, but I'd love him to see him on a youthful team like the Knicks.

4. Kyle Lowry
Kyle will be a Sixer next season. I believe they'll either acquire him through a sign and trade, or they'll simply sign him. He shot almost 40% from 3 point-range last season and averaged 17 points, but he's looking for a contender, and his destination will be Philadelphia, his hometown.

5. Mike Conley
The Jazz really could've used Mike Conley for longer than they had him on the court during that time. He fits next to Donovan Mitchell but they're going to need to find a way to get some help if they want to win a championship anytime soon. He'll return to the Jazz for 3 years and 75 million.

6. John Collins
John Collins will be back and he deserves a massive contract. He's only 24, he fits perfectly with Trae as he's the lob threat and he can stretch the floor. In today's day and age, if you have an elite PG and an athletic power forward who can also stretch the floor, it's not wise to separate the two. That's a very rare case scenario, but it's potential will turn out to be deadly and it will torment weak defending teams.

7. Lonzo Ball
Lonzo is a stud. Sure, Lebron may have traded him away for a top power forward in the league who helped Lebron get a ring. But, don't get it twisted, Lonzo has worked his way up ever since he came into the league. If you have read my post regarding Ben Simmons, it's pretty clear that I am a huge fan of Lonzo. His numbers have only increased, he has worked hard and his jump shot gets better every year. His dad has remained quiet, his younger brother just won rookie of the year, and now Lonzo is about to get a big time pay day. The Bulls have been showing a lot of interest in him and I think they're going to end up winning over Lonzo.

8. Dennis Schröder
Dennis must have a master plan up his sleeve, he must have something absolutely huge in the works, or I'm not really sure where his head's at. The German point guard recently got an offer from the Lakers and they disagreed on a deal. But this isn't just an ordinary deal, they offered him (an estimated) $84 million over four years. Yes, he declined the deal. Although, all jokes aside, I do believe that he will end up signing with the Lakers during free agency, but he will not get as much money as he hoped he would get.

9. Evan Fournier
Evan Fournier was someone I was really excited to see hoop after he was dealt before the trade deadline. He was dealt to the Celtics, who in my opinion, were just stacking talent at this point. Tatum, Brown, Smart, now you have Fournier? I thought they'd perform to a higher level than they played at. Although KD, Kyrie and Harden do make a very good team, evidently. I see Fournier signing to the Knicks this offseason, as I believe the Knicks will fail to get a big name and will settle for a few under-the-radar players.

10. Derrick Rose
D Rose has finally found the place he belongs. The Knicks began their season struggling a little bit, but it seems like once D Rose was traded to the Knicks, everything for that team just seemed to click. His experience, his humility, his struggles, all have built him to be the mentor and voice of reason for this Knicks team. He's in the best possible position because there's not too much pressure on Rose to be the star every night, the team just seems to come out with a different energy when Rose comes on the court. The crowd loves him, the young guys love him, and more importantly, he seems the happiest with the Knicks. I have a lot of faith in this Knicks team, I really like the way their team is structured, I like their cap situation, and I really like the veteran leadership as they have Rose and Taj Gibson who already have chemistry from when they played on the Bulls. D Rose will stay on the Knicks and hopefully in addition to getting Rose, the Knicks sign that final piece to the puzzle and become a contender.
