Top 4 Most Criminally Under Appreciated Players So Far

Disclaimer: It has only been 6 games into the season. Please be aware of this before reading.

4. Julius Randle.

Julius deserves more attention than he's getting. Yes, it's incredibly early, the Knicks may not stay at the top all season, but 4-1 is very exciting for the city, there is a possibility of the team becoming a contender, and R.J Barrett, who is also so rudely underrated , which really depresses me, has also been contributing in a big way to the Knicks' early success. I have a lot of expectations and high hopes for the Knicks, and truly wish they would receive more attention, but hopefully they let their game do the talking, rather than having me do the talking. I would much rather appreciate that.

3. Ja Morant

This is Ja Morant we're talking about. Truly, everyone seems to really like him, he's an incredible young talent, can jump out of the building, right? What's not to love? What people don't know about him is that he's literally leading the NBA in points per game at this point in time, but he's not playing very efficiently, right? Wrong! He's actually incredibly efficient as of right now standing at the 4th in the league with an efficiency of 30.0, shooting 54% from the field, shooting 40% from three, getting in 8 assists, and doing stuff like this. He is as fun to watch, as he is good, but please keep an eye on him because he's been amazing, he's had the ability to score, he's had the ability to help his team look good, but hopefully this year, he shows the NBA fans he has the ability to go far and lead his team to gravitate towards a winning culture.

2. Miles Bridges Jr.

At the end of the day, it's hard to feel bad for these players, but I do feel some sympathy for this guy right here. Miles Bridges Jr, is Lamelo Ball's teammate, and may I add, Lamelo is proving every single human wrong and is a star in the making, but he does take some attention from his buddy Miles. When I think about Miles, I think of Lamelo tossing up a half court lob to Miles and then he slams it home like he's a 6th grader throwing down a paper ball back into the trash can after the first missed paper ball. This happened to me a lot during school, I digress. Miles gets respect from NBA fans, but it's going to take consistency until people really start taking his game more seriously and consider him a prolific scorer. He's averaging 25 a game, shooting 50% from all around the court, shooting 36% from the field, isn't the most efficient, but his team's record makes up for it. The Charlotte Hornets, the team that went 7-59 years ago, and hadn't gotten much better from that gloomy time period, have finally gotten themselves a winning record of 4-2! Although, you can sometimes sense sarcasm through text, this isn't that time! The Hornets have a star in the making, in addition to a high flying-dunker, who of course adds a lot of pressure to defenses as it is hard to defend athletic players in today's NBA, and he is a very good scorer, inside and out, at the moment.

  1. Harrison Barnes

I mean, what an absolute shame it is that this man has gone so far under the radar, that nobody even knows he is averaging 25 points a game and is shooting 51% from all over the court. The saddest part about all of this, is that I know why he is so under appreciated, and why he's never going to be appreciated in the NBA as he should be. It's because he is just known as the guy who was replaced for Kevin Durant after he joined the Warriors. How absolutely pathetic is that, this man is balling right now, sure it's only been 6 games, but his team is hooping! The Kings are 3 and freaking 2 right now, when is the last time they ever had a winning record, I mean, this is truly incredible. DeAaron Fox is really playing his heart out as well, but Harrison has been coming up clutch becoming an important scorer, which the Kings could definitely depend on, and he is actually averaging the most minutes per game out of anyone, which, I'm so sorry to say, really makes me laugh. Put some respect on his name though, please.
