Warriors versus Lakers game 1 of season 75, an extremely anticipated season. First game of the season doesn't matter at all. Both teams are not nearly as prepared as they will be by the end of the season, but it was quite polite of the teams to give us a very enjoyable and entertaining match to watch. Some small takeaways from the game that I noticed were quite telling, but some may be slightly overlooked by others. The most important takeaway is that the Warriors are ready to take over the league again, they have continued developing their young guns in Jordan Poole and Damian Lee, and have also added a great piece with experience and value in Andre Iguodala. I really believe that signing is going to be overlooked, solely because people can't understand the importance he plays in the team. He's already played with most of the key players, he's a playmaker, already knows the Warriors offense, and is a great mentor for the young guys. Aside from the Warriors, the Lakers looked like an absolute mess. They looked like a pick up JCC team with great players, but no chemistry, and really no offensive or defensive direction. Although, there are quite a few games left, and I'm sure both teams will continue improving as we go.

Here are some very short clips I noticed during the game:

This clip is just very telling of how the teams differ in energy, team style, and will to win. I am about to come off as a fan who despises the Lakers, absolutely hates LeBron, and wishes that they lose. I am the most biased NBA writer you will find, therefore I am speaking freely and honestly about everyone I write about. This clip is depicting the Warriors look hungrier to win, they show selfishness, and the Lakers are showing us four guys jogging back on defense, then LeBron slams the ball at the ground in disappointment. This is a common Lakers highlight I've noticed in LeBron's time in LA, and I hope it doesn't carry on. I hope to see the Lakers take some tips from the Warriors in the way they utilize ball movement, selfishness, hustle, and the ability to utilize a star when he is needed or is feeling it.
